Request that the Board waive the $360 campaign finance late fee assessed against Charles Ray Moore, an unsuccessful candidate for Mayor, City of Pineville in the March 26, 2022, whose 2021 Annual campaign finance disclosure reports were filed 9 days late. |

Charles Ray Moore requests a waiver and states the following:
This election was his first time being a candidate and he misinterpreted the guidelines of needing to file an Annual Report. His first report, the 30th day prior to primary report, he reported all transactions from 12/2/21 through 2/14/22 and it was submitted on 2/24/22. Since it was his first report submitted he called the office to make sure it was received and at that point was when he learned that he needed to separate it out into an Annual report for transactions in 2021 and the 2022 transactions on the 30-P report. He submitted the revised reports the same day and each of the subsequent reports submitted met the established deadlines.
