RE:
Request that the Board waive the $480 campaign finance late fee assessed against William Wallis, an unsuccessful candidate for State Representative,78th Representative District in the October 12, 2019 election, whose 2021 Supplemental campaign finance disclosure report was filed 8 days late.
Facts:

William Wallis requests a waiver and states the following:

He was in DC for business when the Supplement notice reached his home. The day he returned, he tested positive for COVID. He immediately had to leave his home which he shares with family (including a100 year old mother-in-law) and sequester himself in his camper for 10 days. He opened mail from there and found the notice to file. He contacted, Brittany Rogers, report preparer, asking her to file the report. She confirmed and thought it was taken care of. After 10 days of being sequestered and "out of the loop," upon returning to work, he received the notice of delinquency. His report preparer explained the reason for having missed the deadline and immediately filed the report from out of town.
