Request that the Board waive the $1,800 campaign finance late fee assessed against Dalton Honore, an unsuccessful candidate for State Representative, 63rd Representative District in the October 12, 2019 election, whose 2020 Supplemental campaign finance disclosure report was filed 30 days late. |

Dalton Honore requests a waiver and states the following:
Although he strives to adhere to all reporting requirements, he was not successful in the October 12, 2019 election, due to an oversight. He received no campaign contributions nor did he make any expenditures for calendar year 2020. Once he realized the report was past due, he filed. He closed out the October 12, 2019 campaign on Report #102279 filed February 13, 2022. That report showed $75 paid to his accountant for calendar year 2021. The remaining funds were transferred to Report #102280 (annual report) to be used in a future campaign. He decided not to seek any elected office in the future and has since disbanded the campaign organization and closed the campaign bank account. His final report will be submitted for calendar year 2022 in February 2023.
