Request that the Board waive the $2,500 campaign finance late fee assessed against Guy E. Bradberry, a successful candidate for Judge, Court of Appeal, 3rd Circuit, 2nd Dist., Sec. 2B in the November 8, 2022 election, and his committee's chairperson, Russell J. Stutes, Jr., whose 180-P campaign finance disclosure report was filed 82 days late. |

Russell Stutes, chairperson for Guy E. Bradberry, requests a waiver and states the following: Judge Bradberry was a district level candidate as of 05/12/2022 and didn't decide to run for 3rd Circuit Court of Appeal Judge, major level candidate, until June of 2022, He was not required to report until 08/10/2022. The transactions between 01/01/2022 through 07/31/2022 were not required to be filed until 08/10/2022. The Committee reported all such transactions on the 90-P which was filed 08/2/2022. Mr.Stutes believes the only error made was reporting 01/01/22-05/02/22 transactions on a separate report, instead of reporting all transactions on the 90-P Report. Considering such error did not violate statues in the Late Fee Order and can easily be corrected by filing an amendment.

18:1505.4.A(1) Any candidate, the treasurer or chairman of a political committee, or any other person required to file any reports under this Chapter, who knowingly fails to file or who knowingly fails to timely file any such reports as are required by this Chapter may be assessed a civil penalty for each day until such report is filed.
