Request that the Board waive the $1,000 campaign finance late fee assessed against Dorothy Ann Watkins, a successful candidate for Member of School Board, District 8, Zachary Community in the November 4, 2014 election, whose 2017 Supplemental campaign finance disclosure has not been filed. |

Dorothy Ann Watkins, requests a waiver and states the following:
She believed she filed the 2017 Supplemental on or before the due date. The balance remained $63.91 from January 1, 2017 through December 31, 2017 and she thought that a report was not required if there weren't any contributions, expenditures, or loans made during the reporting period. In 2018, she qualified for reelection and was unopposed. When she contacted BOE she wasn't notified that she needed to submit a 2017 Supplemental. If she had any idea that her filing history was incorrect she would have filed immediately.
