RE:
Waiver request submitted by Angela Reynaud, a former member of the Cajun Coast Visitors & Convention Board, regarding a $1500 late fee assessed for filing her 2020 Tier 2.1 annual pfd 294 days late.
Facts:
Angela Reynaud is requesting a waiver of her late fee. She attached the completed Tier 2.1 Annual PFD statement, along with her resignation letter that she submitted in May 2020. She resigned from the board after becoming overwhelmed while working full-time, attending school for her bachelor's degree, being a parent, and volunteering on a few local boards. She believes that this fee should be excused since she was on the board for less than a year. Ms. Reynaud would also like to state that she volunteers on the Main Street of Morgan City, the Historic, and the Auditorium boards. Her only source of income is her employment with the Conrad Industries.
