Request that the Board waive the $2,000 and $1,080 campaign finance late fees assessed against Pauline D. "Polly" Higdon, a successful candidate for Member of School Board, At large, Iberville Parish, in the November 8, 2022 election whose 30-P and 10-P campaign finance disclosure reports were filed 38 and 18 days late, respectively. |

Ms. Pauline D. "Polly" Higdon requests a waiver and states the following:
She has been an elected Iberville Parish School Board member since 2012 and has always submitted her forms to the BOE appropriately and on time. She was unfamiliar with the electronic filing method so she contacted the BOE before filing her first candidate report and was informed she could manually submit her report. The two statements submitted in October were filed manually. She later received a letter informing her that her reports needed to be filed electronically. The initial representative told her she could file manually because she believed Ms. Higdon was running in a subdistrict as she had in the past. Ms. Higdon states this is not her error and she wouldn't have filed manually had she not been told she could.
