Request that the Board waive a $320 campaign finance late fee assessed against Aaron Hoyle, an unsuccessful candidate for Member of School Board, District B, Ouachita Parish, in the November 8, 2022 election, whose Special (48Hour) campaign finance disclosure report was filed 8 days late. |
|
Aaron Hoyle requests a waiver and states the following:
He believed that the necessary reports had previously been filed. He received a packet that outlined the required reports and it states that the "EDE-P" is only filed if you have expenditures required to report and there weren't any. It also mentions the Special(48-hour) report that may be required, however, he missed that part. He believed that the 30-P, 10-P, and 10-G covered the time frames 1/1/2022-11/20/2022, but there was a contribution on 10/27/2022 that made it necessary to file the special report. His money was spent on this campaign and there aren't any campaign funds left.
