Request that the Board waive the $480 & $280 campaign finance late fees assessed against Michael Hebert Jr., a successful candidate for Member of School
Board, District H, Iberville Parish in the November 8, 2022 election, whose Special (48 Hour) campaign finance disclosure reports were filed 12 and 7 days late, respectively. |

Michael J. Hebert Jr. requests a waiver and states the following:
He has been an elected member of the Iberville Parish School Board since 2006. This was his
last election. When he received the late fee assessment, he spoke with a BOE representative and was
informed of his two violations on the same report, which was his 10th day prior to the general election
report. Mr. Hebert received two contributions exceeding $250 in the amount of $300 each, from his
sister, Crystal Blanchard. They should have been filed on a SPEC report, which made his 10-G report 7
days late on the contribution. This mishap was an honest mistake and he would like to ask for a waiver
of the late fee.
