| Request that the Board waive the $2,000 and $960 for a total of $2,960 campaign finance late fees assessed against James "Jimmy" Kytle, an unsuccessful candidate for Member of School Board, District 7, Jefferson Parish, in the November 8, 2022 election, whose 30-P and 10-P campaign finance disclosure reports were filed 36 and 16 days late, respectively. |

Jimmy Kytle requests a waiver and states the following: This was his first time running for public office and he was unaware of all it entailed. Initially, he filed the reports in paper form in a timely manner but was informed they should be submitted electronically. He was actively trying to get that process moving, but it took several days to implement. Unfortunately, his technical skills are lacking. In the fall, he encountered untimely health issues which lead to his being hospitalized. Mr. Kytle was diagnosed with Giant Cell Arteritis and lost vision in both eyes. He is currently being treated with infusions. He does not plan to run for public office again. He would like to ask for a waiver of the assessed late fee and he appreciates your consideration.
