RE:
Request that the Board waive the three (3) $40, $1,000 and $680 for a total of $1,720 campaign finance late fees assessed against Renita Jackson Graber, an unsuccessful candidate for Member of School Board, District 11 in the November 8, 2022 election, whose 30-P, 10-P and 10-G campaign finance disclosure reports were filed 1, 30 and 17 days late, respectively.
Facts:
Renita Jackson Graber requests a waiver and states the following:

She submitted her report on time, but it was sent back to be amended. During that time she was displaced from her home due to Hurricane Ida. She is a pastor and her home and church property were severely damaged. Ms. Jackson-Graber had been living in a rental property and didn't always get her mail on time, which caused her not to file on time. She also had to make sure displaced members of her congregation had adequate places to live. Unfortunately, all of these things happened before, during, and after the election. This situation was out of her control and she is asking to have the fee suspended or waived. Ms. Jackson-Graber does not have any campaign funds left and would have to pay the fees from her personal account, while still getting her home and church repaired.
