RE:
Withdrawal of an advisory opinion request from Dinah Landry, Executive Director of the Cameron Parish Council on Aging and the Community Action Agency, as to her possible candidacy for Cameron Parish Police Jury.
Facts:
The Cameron Parish Council on Aging is a non-profit corporation chartered in 1976. The primary function is to improve the quality of life for the parish's elderly and to provide services to the elderly as well as to coordinate and monitor the services of other local agencies serving the aging people of the parish. The Cameron Parish Police Jury awards $12,000 annually to the Council on Aging for the home-delivered Meals on Wheels Program.
The Cameron Community Action Agency, Inc. is a non-profit corporation established in 1987, which receives grants from the federal and state governments to conduct various service programs, including Head Start, Community Service Block grants, Child and Adult Food Program, and the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program. The Community Action Agency does not receive any funding from the Cameron Parish Police Jury.

Dinah Landry is employed as the Executive Director of both the Cameron Council on Aging and the Community Action Agency. The two agencies share a physical location in Grand Lake. Ms. Landry asks whether she can continue to be employed as the Executive Director of both agencies while also serving as an elected member of the Cameron Parish Police Jury.
