Request to reconsider the Board's decision declining to waive the $100 late fee assessed against Adam Ducote for the late filing of the December 2022 Lobbying Expenditure Report. |
|
INITIAL CONSIDERATION: Mr. Ducote stated that he was traveling to Washington, DC for work-related matters and his failure to finalize on time was simply an oversight. He stated that he has taken proactive steps to add all of the 2023 filing deadlines to his electronic calendar and has also added an alternate email address to his registration profile so that he will receive duplicate reminder messages for filing deadlines.
The Board at its May 5, 2023 meeting declined to waive the late fee. Mr. Ducote did not provide any new information as to why he did not timely file the December 2022 expenditure report by January 25, 2023.
