Walt Wilson, the Chief Compliance Officer and Ethics Liaison for the Concordia Parish Hospital Service District d/b/a Trinity Medical, submitted an Advisory Opinion request. Mr. Wilson originally asked whether a member of the Hospital Service District Board of Commissioners could enter into multiple contracts and/or agreements with the Hospital Service District. After communications with staff, it was discovered that a Board member had already entered into contracts with the hospital for hospitalist services, physician collaborator services, obstetrical call agreement and a Pulmonary Function Test interpretation agreement.
