currently the Assistant Director for the St. Mary Parish Library. Ms. Jones was
hired by St. Mary Parish Library on June 20, 2023. Ms. Jones' father, Sam
Jones, is currently running for the St. Mary Parish President seat.

La. R.S. 42:1119B(1) No member of the
immediate family of a member of a governing authority or the chief executive of
a governmental entity shall be employed by the governmental entity.
