Request that the Board waive the $560.00 campaign finance late fee assessed against Danny Bordelon, a successful candidate for Police Juror, District E, Rapides Parish, in the October 14, 2023 election, whose 30-P campaign finance disclosure report was filed 14 days late. |
|
Danny Bordelon requests a waiver and states the following: With him being a first-time candidate, he did not know when to file his report, so he filed untimely. He spoke with a candidate who reminded him to file, but he could not find the needed paperwork. So, he submitted the 30-P with the 10-P report. Mr. Bordelon knows this is not an excuse, but it is an explanation.
