Amy Senegal Trahan requests a waiver and states the following: From May 2023 through October 2023, she was the caregiver for her 84-year-old father. In May 2023, he was diagnosed with lung cancer. He was unable to undergo chemotherapy. His condition worsened in September 2023, and he was unable to do anything for himself. Juggling her father's care, home, campaign, and work life was overwhelming. The report was submitted on 9/20/2023, and her father passed away on 10/4/2023. The weeks before his passing were stressful. Ms. Trahan did not miss the deadline intentionally. She filed immediately after realizing the report was past due and never missed any other deadlines. Ms. Trahan would like to ask that you waive the assessed late fee.
