Request that the Board waive the $480 and $540 campaign finance late fees ($1,020 total) assessed against Thomas Rodrigue, an unsuccessful candidate for Lafourche Parish Sheriff in the October 14, 2023 election, whose 30-P and 10-G campaign finance disclosure reports were filed 8 and 9 days late, respectively. |
|
Thomas Rodrigue requests a waiver and states the following: He explained that the person who previously filed his reports has become disabled. He was not aware of the extent of her disability, and she forgot to file the reports due to her medication causing difficulties with tasks that were once easy to do.
