Waiver request submitted by Carlos Ray Archield, Beauregard Parish School Board, regarding a $1500 late fee assessed for filing his 2023 School Board Disclosure 39 days late. |

Larry Hollie is submitting a waiver request on behalf of Carlos Ray Archield. The fee was assessed for the 2023 SBD, declaring that Mr. Archield's sister is an employee of the Beauregard Parish School Board. It was unknown that his sister was employed by the Board since she has a different surname. Being that it was his first term as a school board member, Mr. Archield was unaware that he needed to report the connection. As soon as it was brought to the Board's attention, they advised Mr. Archield to file the disclosure. They appreciate the consideration of this request
