Request that the Board waive the $2,000 campaign finance late fee assessed against the Gulf Coast PAC, a political action committee, its committee's chairperson, Domoine Rutledge and treasurer, D. Stephen Laplace, whose May 2023 Monthly report was filed 10 days late. |

Dana Daigle, report preparer for Gulf Coast PAC requests a waiver and states the following: Postlethwaite & Netterville, APAC (P&N) was engaged by Gulf Coast PAC to assist with filing the monthly campaign reports. In May 2023, P&N began working to transition certain campaign finance clients to other service providers. Gulf Coast PAC did not receive notice of the change, and P&N did not file the May 2023 report. Upon discovery, P&N immediately filed the report. Both P&N and Gulf Coast PAC have a history of timely filing. Please take the miscommunication into consideration and waive the assessed late fee.
