Ms. Distefano currentlys serve a part-time felony prosecutor for West Baton Rouge Parish in the 18th Judicial District. She also maintains a private law practice. One of her clients in a civil matter was the victim of an alleged crime. The person charged in that crime has requested her recusal in the civil matter.
