Mr. William "Bill" Lewis, requests a waiver and states the following: This is his first attempt to pursue public office, and he strove to stay compliant. He filed other required reports on time but misinterpreted the requirement of the final filing after he lost the election. Once he received the delinquency notice, the report was immediately filed. The office he pursued was an opportunity to serve his community, and the financial reward was minimal compared to the cost and effort required. Mr. Lewis will soon be 74 years old and has no intention of pursuing public office again. He prides himself on staying in compliance and paying his debts.
