Request that the Board waive a $1,800.00 campaign finance late fee assessed against Progressive Pelican PAC, a political action committee, and its committee's chairperson, Greg Morrison in the October 14, 2023 election, whose 10-G campaign finance disclosure report was filed 9 days late.

Request to reinstate the suspension of campaign finance reassessed late fees of $2,700.00 and $2,500.00 for the 10-G and 40-G in connection with the November 3, 2020 election. |

Gregory A. Morrison, chairperson for Progressive Pelican PAC, requests a waiver and states the following: The report was filed untimely because the PAC was not involved in the runoff, and they did not know the report needed to be filed at that time. It was immediately filed after they were made aware of their error. Additionally, this late filing triggered the reassessment of the 40-G and 10-G fines. Mr. Morrison would like to ask that you consider waiving or reducing all of the assessed fees. The PAC only has $30.60 in funds on hand at this time. Your consideration is greatly appreciated.
