Dixie Ramirez requests a waiver and states the following: She has no excuse for her actions. She is 91 years old, and this was her first time running for office. She didn't believe she would win. She has lived in the same house for 40 years, been active in several committees, and worked hard on projects. Ms. Ramirez lives on a fixed income, and the Parish Council pays the sum of $600 monthly. She would not be able to afford the fee. Therefore, she is requesting that the assessed late fee be waived.
