Request that the Board waive the $2,000.00 campaign finance late fee assessed against Julius Romano, a unsuccessful candidate for Mayor, City of Shreveport, Bossier & Caddo Parishes in the November 8, 2022 election, whose 10-G campaign finance disclosure report was filed 506 days late.
Facts:
Julius Romano requests a waiver and states the following: Julius Romano would like to request a waiver of the assessed late fee for the 10-P. Mr. Romano contacted BOE representatives via phone and email. He states there can be no fortitude, temperance, prudence, or justice without first having gratitude. Mr. Romano feels the constituents should be heard and the BOE should accept his late filing without penalty of fines or further prosecution.
