RE:
Withdrawal of Advisory Opinion request as to whether the Code of Governmental Ethics ("Code") permits Steven Nosacka to continue to provide municipal advisory services within the State of Louisiana if he becomes employed as the Regional Director with the Governor's Office of Rural Development.
Facts:
For the past 19 years, Mr. Nosacka has headed his own Municipal Advisory firm, Trinity Capital Resources, LLC. Municipal Advisors are regulated by the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board with their regulations enforced by the Securities and Exchange Commission. The role of Municipal Advisors is to serve municipal governments in identifying and accomplishing the most advantageous sources of financing for their capital projects.


Mr. Nosoacka was considering employment as a Regional Director with the Governor's Office of Rural Development.


Recommendations:
Accept the withdrawal of the advisory opinion request.
