Request that the Board waive the $1,000.00 campaign finance late fee assessed against Kacie Stewart, successful candidate for Alderman, Town of Livingston, Livingston Parish in the November 3, 2020, whose 2022 Supplemental campaign finance disclosure report was filed 89 days late. |
|
Ms. Stewart requests a waiver and states the following: She believed she completed her report until she received the NOD. She submitted her PFD on March 9 instead of her SUPP2022 report. She filed the SUPP2022 once she realized the error. This was an honest mistake. As a first time elected official, learning all the filing requirements has taken some time. She also cites financial hardship.
