Dr. Brent Vidrine is submitting an answer on behalf of Brandon Delshawn Johnson. Administration of the Monroe City School Board reminds the members annually to submit their disclosures by the deadline. They failed to do so in 2023. The Board members rely on the reminder. This was an oversight, and they apologize for this mishap. Please excuse any Monroe City Board member who did not submit their disclosure by the prescribed deadline.

La. R.S. 42:1119B(2)(a)(iii) by September fifteenth of each school year, any school board member or superintendent whose immediate family member is employed by the school board shall file a disclosure statement with the Board of Ethics stating the facts of such employment. Any person who fails to timely file a disclosure statement under this Item may be assessed a late fee of fifty dollars per day, not to exceed one thousand five hundred dollars, subject to the provisions of R.S. 42:1157.
