RE:
Waiver request submitted by Hannah Wenninger, former member of the Natchitoches Historic Development Commission, regarding an $850 late fee assessed for filing her amended 2021 Tier 2.1 annual pfd 17 days late.
Facts:
Hannah Wenninger is the president's executive assistant at Northwestern State University. She misunderstood the reason her 2021 PFD needed to be amended. Ms.Wenninger believed it was returned because the digital signature was insufficient, and the appropriate financial information was not disclosed. She thought she only needed to submit financial earnings if she was an elected official. When she received the amendment notice, they were in the transition of a presidential change and she was trying to go on a personal vacation. Due to the nature of these events, she unintentionally neglected to submit the amended disclosure. It was immediately submitted after realizing the oversight. Ms.Wenninger understands the importance of compliance.
