Request that the Board waive the $240.00 campaign finance late fee assessed against George L. Branigan, a candidate for Councilmember, District 4 for a future election, whose 2023 Annual campaign finance disclosure report was filed 4 days late. |

Austin T. Roser, submitting a waiver on behalf of George Branigan, requests a waiver and states the following: He received a $240 late fee, but $160 was supposed to be the posted fee amount. He is requesting a waiver because a filing was required for the 2007 and Future Elections. They did not understand that they needed to file two separate reports for two separate campaigns. Everything was disclosed in one report, and once they received the amendment notice, it was immediately updated. It was a clear misunderstanding, but they are now knowledgeable of the requirements.
