Waiver request submitted by Ashley J. Argrave, Louisiana Commission for the Deaf, regarding a $900 late fee assessed for filing her 2022 Tier 2.1 annual pfd 18 days late. |
|
Ashley Argrave says the delay in filing was due to the circumstances surrounding her recent move on 12/12/2023, which was three days after the notice had been delivered. Their new 14506 Wally Way address was closed on 12/12/2023. Renters moved into the 8912 Boone address, and mail was set aside. Please note the days between the due date and submission also include Christmas and New Year's, in which they did not receive the mail to their forwarding address. After the holidays, she quickly submitted her disclosure after she returned to her office and received the mail. This $900 fine is a substantial financial burden since she is a teacher and independently contracts with school systems. Ms. Argrave serves on the Board and is committed to upholding ethical standards and integrity. She humbly requests your understanding and consideration in waiving this late fee. *It appears that she meant to type 12/13/2023 for her Wally Way address.
