Waiver request submitted by Paul Ogden Johnson, former member of the Louisiana Rice Promotion Board, regarding a $1500 late fee assessed for filing his 2022 Tier 2.1 annual pfd 159 days late. |
|
Paul Ogden Johnson was harvesting 2,000 acres, working 80+hours, and returning home extremely late. He was unaware that he was still on the Rice Promotion Board. Mr. Johnson has a family of six to feed, clothe, and financially support. The money is not available. He is thankful for all the help he received from BOE representatives and would greatly appreciate a waiver of the assessed late fee.
