Request that the Board waive a $120 campaign finance late fee assessed against Joseph "Tony" Guillory, a successful candidate for Police Juror, District 4, Calcasieu Parish, in the October 14, 2023 election, whose 2024 Supplemental campaign finance disclosure report was filed 3 days late.
Facts:
Joseph Guillory requests a waiver and states the following: He received a notice from Kelly Fontenot, Director of Finance for Calcasieu Parish Police Jury, stating that he was required to file if he received more than $200 from a single source in the past calendar year or spent more than $2,500 in expenditures. He has held this office since 2011.
