HB 160 (Rep. Dickerson) - Provides relative to ethics complaints. (Passed House; Pending SGA)



HB 2016 (Rep. Jackson) - Provides for broadcast and recording of BOE Meetings. (Passed House; Pending Senate Vote)



HB 335 (Rep. Freeman) - Provides an exception for post-employment restrictions for sexual assault nurse examiners. (Passed House; Pending SGA)



HB 586 (Rep. McMakin) - Provides for the calling a constitutional convention. (Pending HGA)


HB 590 (Rep. Spell) - Provides relative to foreign funding for elections and election campaigns. (Passed House; Pending Senate Vote)

SB 109 (Sen. Seabaugh) - Constitutional amendment to provide for prohibit foreign donations in elections. (Passed Senate, Passed HGA, referred to House Civil Law & Procedure Committee)




SB 183 (Sen. Morris) - Creates the crime of unlawful accepting of a thing of value by a public servant. (Passed SGA; Pending Senate Vote)




SB 197 (Sen. Stine) - Provides for reporting an expenditure for celebrity endorsements in campaigns. (Pending SGA)


Law:
R.S. 42:1134J provides that the Louisiana Board of Ethics "shall make recommendations to the governor and the legislature for revisions in the Code of Governmental Ethics and other legislation relating to the conduct of public servants and other persons subject to the provisions of this Chapter who are within its jurisdiction."
