Request that the Board waive the $2,000.00 and $60.00 for a total of $2,060.00 campaign finance late fees assessed against Barbara Norton, an unsuccessful candidate for State Senator, 39th Senatorial District in the October 14, 2023 election, whose 2023 and 2024 Supplemental campaign finance disclosure reports were filed 180 days and 1 day late, respectively. |

Skylar Norton, on behalf of Barbara Norton, requests a waiver and states the following: Ms. Norton encountered unforeseen circumstances that impacted her ability to file the report on time. The employee responsible for completing the report quit without notice. Before her departure, they discussed the filing of the report and believed it had been filed on time. Then the delinquency notice was received. Your understanding of this matter is appreciated.
