Tim Smith, Director of UAW Region 8 Southwestern States PAC, submits a waiver and states the following: For the last 25 years, only one employee has processed and submitted the monthly reports. When the report was due, she was on medical leave, and a new employee was trained. She was not well enough to offer training or report by the deadline. The PAC would like to request a one-time forgiveness for the $1,400 late fee.
They now have multiple employees trained in the report process to ensure this error does not happen again.
