RE:
Request that the Board waive the $180.00 campaign finance late fee assessed against Brian L. Glorioso, a successful candidate for State Representative, 90th Representative District in the October 14, 2023 election, whose 2023 supplemental campaign finance disclosure report was filed 3 days late.
Facts:
Brian L. Glorioso requests a wavier and states the following: He was out of the country when the report was due on 2/15/2025. He submitted it on 2/18/2025, immediately upon his return to Louisiana. Prior to leaving, he wasn't aware that the report was required. Mr. Glorioso could not find a record of how he was notified of his filing requirement, but he assumes it came in while he was on vacation.
