| Request that the Board waive the $1,000.00 campaign finance late fee assessed against Nathan Rust, a successful candidate for School Board Member, Dist. 6, EBR Parish, in a future election, whose 2024 Annual campaign finance disclosure report was filed 161 days late. |
|
Aneatra Boykin, on behalf of Nathan Rust, requests a waiver and states the following: He was a candidate for the East Baton Rouge Parish School Board during the 11/8/2022 election. The late submission was due to an unintentional oversight. Before this instance, he had a record of full compliance. His campaign account maintained a less than $2,000 balance throughout the reporting period, which only involved service fees. Mr. Rust is committed to meeting all future filing deadlines without exception. Given these circumstances and demonstrated compliance history, please waive or reduce the assessed late fee.
