Request that the Board waive the $80.00 late fee assessed against Tehmi Chassion, a successful candidate for Member of School Board, District 4, Lafayette Parish in the October 12, 2019 election, whose 2024 Supplemental campaign finance report was filed 2 days late.

Request that the Board rescind the reassessments for two (2) $400.00 late fees that were suspended against Tehmi Chassion, a successful a candidate for Member of School Board, District 4, Lafayette Parish in the November 4, 2014 and October 2, 2010 election, whose 2017 Supplemental Campaign Finance Disclosure Reports were filed 10 days late. |

Tehmi Chassion requests a waiver and states the following: He forgot to file his 2024 SUPP for the 10/12/19 election, which triggered two $400 fines to be reassessed that were previously suspended in docket #2018-380. This mishap was unintentional. Mr. Chassion's daughter was born on 2/12/18, three days prior to the due date of both reports. Due to complications, she remained in the hospital, and he didn't realize the 2017 SUPP reports were late until she was released, which prompted the untimely report filings. He will gladly pay the $80 fee, but requests that the two $400 fines not be reassessed.
