Kimberly Burbank qualified to run for the office of Orleans Parish Council Member, District E, in the October 11, 2025 election. Ms. Burbank attempted to withdraw from the election; however, her withdrawal was not filed timely with the Secretary of State's office and the Secretary of State rejected her Notice of Withdrawal. Ms. Burbank will appear on the ballot for the October 11, 2025 election.
Ms. Burbank filed her 2024 Tier 2 Candidate PFD on August 6, 2025. Ms. Burbank omitted required information regarding her employer and income earned from her employer. The income was required to be disclosed by category, not exact dollar figure.

La. R.S. 18:1495.7A requires any person who becomes a candidate for an office for which the holder of the office is required to file financial disclosure statements pursuant to R.S. 42:1124, 1124.2, or 1124.3 shall file a financial disclosure statement as required by R.S. 42:1124, 1124.2, or 1124.3 for the office for which he is a candidate. The statement required by this Section shall be filed within three (3) business days after the close of the qualifying period during which the candidate files his notice of candidacy for the office.
La. R.S. 42:1124.2 requires each person holding a public office who represents a voting district having a population of 5,000 or more persons to file an annual personal financial disclosure statement on or before May 15th of each year during which the person holds office and the year following termination of the holding of such office.
La. R.S. 42:1124.2C(3) requires the name of the employer, job title, and a brief description of each full-time or part-time employment position held by the individual or spouse.
La. R.S. 42:1124.2C(5)(b) requires the name and address of any employer which provides income to the individual or spouse pursuant to full-time or part-time employment of the individual or spouse, including a brief description of the nature of the services rendered pursuant to such employment and the amount of such income.

Advise Ms. Burbank she is required to disclose all employment and all income from her employment on the 2024 Tier 2 Candidate PFD.
