| Request that the Board waive the $1,000 late fee assessed against Joaquin "Jr." Matheu, a candidate for Tangiphoa Parish Assessor in a future election, whose 2024 Annual campaign finance report was filed 119 days late. |
|
|
Patrick Matheu is submitting a waiver on behalf of his father, Joaquin Matheu, Jr. and states the following: Mr. Matheu has certain health issues. Patrick has power of attorney and is attempting to get his father's finances in order. He was unaware of the due date for the CF reports and assumed that the accountant who had previously filed them would handle it. Once Patrick was notified, he gathered the necessary paperwork and receipts to correct prior reports and file the report on 6/17/2025.
