LBB submitted an advisory opinion request on February 9, 2026 and asked for expedited consideration at the March 6, 2026 meeting. The Board staff prepared that opinion and circulated it to LBB prior to the March 6, 2026 meeting. On March 5, 2026, LBB requested that the matter be deferred without providing a reason for such request. The Board voted to defer this matter to the April 2026 meeting. On March 17, 2026, LBB requested that the opinion request be withdrawn, as the potential vendors withdrew their bid, rendering the opinion request moot.
