| Request that the Board waive the late fee of $500.00 assessed against Gavin Clyde Robertson, an unsuccessful candidate for Mayor / City of Port Allen, West Baton Rouge Parish, in the November 5, 2024 election, whose 10-G report was inaccurately filed. |
|
Clyde Robertson requests a waiver and states the following: His report did not provide the required information, which he believes happened because he was rushing. He understands that the purpose of this report is to review campaign contributions and monitor expenditures, and that this should be accomplished through his revised reports. Mr. Robertson has no interest in participating in another campaign; however, if he does, this mishap will not happen again. This campaign was grassroots and funded by him. He was unable to hire a staff member to prepare the reports, which caused delays and inaccuracies in reporting. This election was unsuccessful, so assessing this fine would only hurt his financial position.
