RE:
Request that the Board waive the $60 campaign finance late fee assessed against Jon D. Johnson, an unsuccessful candidate for State Senator, 3rd Senatorial District in the February 7, 2026 election, whose 10-P campaign finance disclosure report was filed 1 day late.
Facts:
Jon D. Johnson requests a waiver and states the following: His report was submitted after the deadline because he was unable to access the BOE website. He attempted to correct the report on 1/28/2026 for hours. He did not want to amend the report and file a new one because the correction was a simple misspelling. Mr. Johnson mentions that other people witnessed the website issue. Please waive the assessed late fee.
