Advisory opinion request asked about whether someone could run for school board while their spouse served as a principal. When staff reached out to Mr. Lacombe for additional information (names, parish, dates of employment, etc.), Mr. Lacombe advised that he did not have all of the requested information, because it was another husband/wife, not himself. Staff explained the concept of standing for advisory opinions, and asked if he wanted to withdraw the request. He verbally confirmed he wanted to withdraw the request, but has not provided written notification of such withdrawal.
