Dana Armand states that during the registration process, an incorrect employment date was inadvertently used. The date entered reflected the execution date of the contract between Mr. Nickle, Mr. Courson, and Netflix, rather than the effective date of the agreement. The contract date is February 15, 2026 and based on the correct date of February 20, 2026, filing falls within the required timeframe and should be considered timely. A copy of the contract is enclosed reflecting the commencement date. Additionally, Dana Armand states the employment date in the Lobbyist Online System has been updated for Mr. Nickel and Mr. Courson to reflect the accurate effective date.

49:74C, 33:9664C and 24:53E provides that a lobbyist may file his registration renewal at any time from December 1st until January 31st.
R.S. 49:74A and 24:53A provide that "[e]ach lobbyist shall register with the ethics board as soon as possible after employment as a lobbyist or after the first action requiring his registration as a lobbyist, whichever occurs first, and in any event not later than five days after employment as a lobbyist or not later than five days after the first action requiring his registration as a lobbyist, whichever occurs first."
