| Request that the Board waive $2,500 campaign finance late fee assessed against Mike Francis, an unsuccessful candidate for Secretary of State in the October 14, 2023 election, whose 2025 Supplemental campaign finance disclosure report was filed 97 days late. |
|
Charles Abshire is submitting a waiver on behalf of Mike Francis and states the following: It was discovered that the deadline in their system was listed as 6/30/2026 instead of 3/3/2026. Upon identifying the issue, the report was promptly filed. All reports are filed and up to date. They would like to apologize for this oversight and have taken steps to ensure that all future CF reports are filed by the deadline.
