| Request that the Board waive the $500 campaign finance late fee assessed against Tracey Johnson Taylor-Jarrell, a successful any level candidate for Member of School Board, District 1, Zachary Community, EBR Parish, in the October 11, 2025 election, whose 2025 Supplemental campaign finance disclosure report was filed 105 days late. |
|
Tracey Johnson Taylor-Jarrell requests a waiver and states the following: It is her first year serving as an elected board member and her first experience with the campaign finance reporting requirements associated with holding office. She filed the initial report on time but was unaware that an additional form was required after the filing. The failure to submit was not intentional. After being made aware of the oversight, she took immediate steps to address the matter. She understands the importance of filing obligations and will comply with all future filing deadlines. Ms. Taylor-Jarrell appreciates your time and consideration of this matter. Please waive the assessed late fee.
