Lori Withers was employed as a teacher at Bernice High School on September 6, 2005. On August 6, 2021, she transferred to Union Parish High School. On August 1, 2024, Mrs. Withers became a 10-month teacher to reflect her duties as teacher and assistant football coach.
Amy Littleton and Lori Withers are sisters.
Mrs. Littleton was first hired by the Union Parish School System as a long-term substitute on March 22, 1999. Mrs. Littleton became a teacher at Bernice High School in August 2003, moved to Farmerville Elementary School in August 2008. Mrs. Littleton moved to Union Parish Highs School on July 13, 2015. On September 16, 2019, she was promoted to Curriculum Coordinator and promoted to principal on December 16, 2025 at Union Parish High School.
A Disqualification Plan was submitted stating that Mrs. Littleton is disqualified from participating in any matters involving her sister and she reports to Emily Stokes, Assistant Principal, as her direct Supervisor. Alice Bolton, Secondary Supervisor, is named as Mrs. Wither's Supervisor at the District level. Mrs. Littleton will refer any matters necessary to the Superintendent or School Board for handling.

La. R.S. 42:1119A states that no member of the immediate family of an agency head shall be employed in his agency.
La. R.S. 42:1112B(1) states that no public servant shall participate in a transaction involving the governmental entity in which, to his actual knowledge, any member of his immediate family has a substantial economic interest.
La. R.S. 42:1112C allows a disqualification plan to be developed in accordance with rules adopted by the Board to remove a public servant from participating in transactions that would otherwise present violations of Section 1112 of the Code.
