Ethics Commission <br /> Opinion No. 93 -225 <br /> Page 18 <br /> Accordingly, the Commission imposes a fine of $1,000 for <br /> each of the two violations of the Code by Mr. Dyer and a fine of <br /> $1,000 for each of the two violations of the Code by FAS. In <br /> order to insure that future violations of this sort do not occur, <br /> the Commission orders Mr. Dyer and any corporation such as FAS in <br /> which he owns a substantial economic interest to cease doing <br /> business in the form of the sales of goods and services with the <br /> Third District Volunteer Fire Department for a period of one year <br /> beyond the date that Mr. Dyer terminates his position as assistant <br /> fire chief and otherwise discontinues his service and <br /> participation in the Third District Volunteer Fire Department. <br /> IV. <br /> ORDER AND DECREE <br /> On motion duly made and seconded and for the reasons given: <br /> IT IS ORDERED that a fine of $1,000 be and it is hereby <br /> imposed on Mr. George Dyer for violating Section 1111C(2)(d). of <br /> the Code; <br /> IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that a fine of $1,000 be and it is <br /> hereby imposed on Mr. George Dyer for violating Sections 1112B(2) <br /> and (3) of the Code; <br /> IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that a fine of $1,000 be and it is <br /> hereby imposed on FAS for violating Section 1113A of the Code; <br /> IT IS FURTHER ORDERED a fine of $1,000 be and it is hereby <br /> imposed on FAS for violating Section 1117 of the Code. <br /> IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that each of the aforementioned four <br /> • fines are to be paid to the Treasurer of the State of Louisiana. <br />
